The Children of Peace Foundation is dedicated to supporting Children and families, regardless of race, religion or cultural background, who have been traumatized by war, conflict, or abuse.

Biography
Leigh has worked in engineering businesses since receiving his Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Montana State University in 1971. After earning his PhD in Psychology from Washington State University in 1988, Leigh began working within large organizations to design and deliver assessment based leadership development programs. As an executive coach he now works with leaders who want to grow their capabilities. He met Khaled in 2001 shortly after Khaled arrived in the United States. Khaled has inspired him as well as many others to dedicate time and resources to helping the traumatized children of Palestine. Leigh believes this to be the most rewarding work he does each year.

Biography
Mr. Jaraysa, himself a victim of a childhood traumatic injury, suffered the amputation of his right arm in a bakery accident at age 13. As a result of this life-changing event, Mr. Jaraysa, a native of Beit Sahour near Bethelehem in Palestine, was introduced to the Holy Child Program, a school and counseling center with services dedicated to traumatized children operated by the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist. He worked closely with the school staff for many years experiencing first hand both the difficulties confronting traumatized children and the joy of helping them overcome obstacles to healing. He taught at the school for five years before coming to the United States in 2001.

Biography
Amanda Hoelzle recieved her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from Seattle University. While in attendance at Seattle University, she became part of Khaled's support network during the early stages of creating this non-profit. She is continually focused on making the world a better place and is honored to be a board member at Children of Peace.

Biography
Daniel J. Roach received Bachelors Degree from Seattle University and his Juris Doctorate from Gonzaga University. Since 1984, he has been an estate planning, business, real estate and adoption attorney practicing law in Walla Walla, Washington. Dan jointed the Children of Peace board after meeting Khaled and finding the two had a common goal to help create stronger communities.

Biography
Mary Kay McFadden is the vice president for University Advancement at Seattle University. She serves on the university's Executive Team and as staff to the Board of Regents. Mary Kay is a member of Seattle Rotary of IV, and the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education. She is chair of the Vice Presidents Committee of the Jesuit Advancement Administrators (JAA) group.
In 1980, Mary Kay was awarded a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Idaho. She completed her MBA in Executive Leadership at Seattle University in 2010. She has worked in education advacement for over 20 years.
